Born in the North of France, I graduated as a Telecommunication engineer with a major in multimedia at IMT Nord Europe in 1997. After working in the IT industry in Europe, South Africa, Canada and the US for a number of years, I had children and moved to Australia where I now live.
From there I launched a design practice – Crealo (meaning ‘create it’ in Spanish), at first offering web and graphic design services. Responding to a gap in government and corporate strategic communication, my attention started shifting towards infographics and presentations design.
Over the last few years, I have produced hundreds of illustrations for well-known clients from a variety of universities and industries, including the pharmaceutical, medical, scientific industries: I have been very fortunate to work with many academics and renowned researchers, fulfilling my curiosity and fascination for science and health (my childhood’s dream job was either doctor without border or comic book illustrator!)
I endlessly love synthesizing and translating complex ideas and concepts into illustrations and visual narratives. Combining sense-making, clarity and aesthetics, information design is where I feel most aligned and able to make the most impact.

Ben’s career journey began some 20 years ago as a brand strategist at Clemenger. He has since pursued all manner of communication and creative roles across HR, corporate training, creative development, screenwriting, video production, and Human Centred Design (HCD) service design. He is currently a facilitator and intructional designer at AIM (Australian Institute of Management, and studying a Master in Gestalt therapy.
Ben is an experienced and dynamic facilitator and helps to run Crealo’s discovery workshops to uncover insights and distill strategic narratives. He is passionate about storytelling and provides assistance with copywriting, voice-over and video editing.
